Blow Job Shot

Blow Job shot is a well known party drink introduced in the late 1980s by Earl LaRoe, a flavor scientist in the United States. The drink unique name blow job shot was derived from its method of consumption in a shot look container. This shot is typically consumed by women during a bachelorette party other wise known as a  hen(s) party or hen(s) night.

Before the drink was introduced, bartenders had been making fun cocktails and shooters for years. Most of these drinks were named more by their wanton names than their quality.

Blow Job shot has a low percentage of alcohol and easy to make. It can be made by combining just three ingredients:

  • Amaretto/Coffee liqueur
  • Irish cream and
  • Whipped cream.

The Irish cream is skimmed onto the amaretto, while the whipped cream is added as a topper.

The unique taste of this drink comes from a long aged cereal grains in wooden casks mainly grown in Ireland nation. Ireland’s drink is known for its smooth finish. This is because it usually contain flavors like honey, hay, vanilla, and nutmeg.

How to Make Blow Job shot

Ingredients

  • 1/2 table spoon of coffee liqueur
  • 1 table spoon of Irish cream and
  • Whipped cream

Irish cream is the most common ingredient used in making Blow Job shot, but if you can not find Irish cream, you can try an alternative like Amaretto almond liqueur or banana and orange liqueur.

You need to pour the 1/2 table spoon of the coffee liqueur into your mixing glass. Gradually, add 1 table spoon of the Irish cream into the mixing glass. One reason you should add the Irish cream bit by bit into the mixing glass is so that, the Irish cream will form a layer and float on the coffee liqueur to create a clear outline.

Once you have added the two liqueurs together, the next thing to do is to top the glass with a clump of whipped cream. You have to make sure that you shake the can well, then tip the can over the shot glass and press down the nozzle. Cover the top of the shot in whipped cream.
