Top 10 Scholarships in France for Foreign Students

The country of France has emerged as one of the most desirable study locations for students coming from other countries. On the other hand, the costs of living and studying in France are not always inexpensive. Although annual tuition prices at public colleges are relatively modest, ranging from 200 to 600 euros, those at private universities can be as expensive as 10,000 euros. The annual cost of living is approximately €10,000. To our great good fortune, a number of scholarships in French language study are being made available to students from other countries.

Eiffel Excellence Scholarships

Eiffel scholarship winners enrolled in master’s programs are awarded an allowance of €1,181, while Eiffel scholarship recipients enrolled in doctoral programs are awarded an allowance of €1,400. In addition, the program pays for a variety of expenses, such as round-trip transportation, health insurance, and participation in cultural activities.

Those who have been awarded a scholarship may also be entitled for an additional accommodation payment. The program does not provide funding to cover the cost of tuition.
