These days, many families are fortunate in the Western Undergraduate Exchange System. The WUE is an agreement between public universities in the western states to provide low tuition fee for students of both American and non- American students.

Wue College List:   What is WUE?

The WUE is a tuition reduction program introduced and managed by a group of Inter-American Commission for Western Higher Education (WICHE).

The sole aim is for many students to benefit from more affordable out-of-state education.

Despite the fact that the Western Undergraduate Exchange is a program coordinated by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education.

WUE also give students from outside the state a  discount on tuition fee.  They usually pay only 150% of state tuition, instead of the regular tuition fee that can be 300% of the state fee.

Residents of California pay a tuition fee of about $ 5,742 to study at California State University. While WUE students pay $ 8,613 for tuition, and other foreign students pay $ 17,622 for tuition.

 

Every  WUE college is allowed to give their  own WUE admission discount according to its own rules.
